Hey I was the only one online and Gum guys started TC and a few random people on the radio started offering to join and help them fight whatever Khans showed up, so I offered too and they said yes. I met them at Hub to confirm, and then joined them at Den. First step was to kill militia. Wow, there were many militia and they almost slaughtered us. I was one of the only 2 people left alive, and everyone came back and started the TC timer.
Sadly, they chose inside the church building as our defense point. The guys who killed us were actually UV and I never saw any of them, not even a glimpse. They picked us off one-by-one through the windows. I never got a shot - I never saw a target. I was burned down by flamer bursts. (I find it worse than strange that an enemy can see me at close range, close enough to burn me through a window, but while I cannot see them at the same close range. How is that possible? And how is that not a broken mechanic in this game?)
What is kinda cool about this is...they were there to train them, not to humiliate them. So they left our piles and stood there welcoming us back and giving advice. Then we spotted 3 Khans and chased them down and died. Khans killed us all easily. I was 1-hexed by Stryker while healing.
Next we re-geared and went on to Redding. We had a lot of people, but were unable to start TC timer due to so many different factions, and 2 of their guys were 80 hp recruits. So we went to Klamath and took it without a fight.
Then we went to Reno to fight Khans, but counted numbers and changed plans - headed to Warehouse. Cleared Slags.
