You will need two chars:
1) the junker.
2) the leveller.
game requirements:
the hotkey setup file:
dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/8196190/FOnline2238.cfg
The junker
basic requirements.
Ranger Perk (you will need a safe house with workbench)
Pe 8+ (do anything to improve, cigs, +1 perception armor)
carry decent weight or have a companion
good requirements
Lockpick
companion
best requirements
With a maxed ap char (A10 +2 actionboy +ap robe and jet) 15 ap will allow you to save time getting up the junk (flex suggestion)
Basically junking you will also level the junker and the companion so you
will also get mobs loot and lockers. The zone where place your Safe House i prefer is 40:32 in this zone you will encounter Dogs, Geckos, Highwaymen, Powder Ganger, Raiders and salvagers. Be carefull about the Powder Gangers Girls that throw explosive and fire: kill them first always. The loot will be Stimpacks and Dynamite candle, first are good to craft Superstimpacks and seconds are good to sell to bartenders. In this zone you'll get 4 kinds of maps, two of them have apple trees that are good to craft mentats.
Before start junking you need
setup the safehouse and craft 100 Desert Eagle .44 (DE) that mean 300 metal parts, 300 alloys and 100 woods
so you should mine 1200 iron ore and 600 minerals
Load the safe house workbench with the DEs
Junking
Junking strategy is in three sentences: Be fast, be fast and be fast.
Set the wall off (ctrl z) and the roof off (ctrl x) so you can see also the hidden junks
Use the Get All once you are on a junk hex, the Get All will cost you 4 ap but at least in a junk exe there are 2 junks, if there are more you'll saved time.
If, after reloaded the encounter you got a fight you have different choices:
If you are wondering about this choices see this time table:
So before start junking give yourself a time objective keeping in mind how much time you have and the ratios on this table.
Note: loner and swift learner perks, dismantler and INTELLINGE10 will allow much more efficient use of the ExpMagazine with a better recover ratio.
If you have a companion best strategy is to load him with the junk/loot before getting overloaded then drop junk on workbench every 30 min, so you can check also how much time you needed to gather it.
Using the timetable you can see how much junk you need to get a certain level, once you have the needed junk build the leveller and start levelling him.
Once you have all DEs and Junk create a map of the save house to give to leveller
The leveller:
the leveller should be strong: he need hold 100 DEs and 100 extended magazines, this will shorten much the level crafting run. Should be smart to get the swift learn and get as soon as possible the Science 120% to get the dismantler perk, i noticed that Intelligence has effect on dismantling and so is I10.
build:
After emerging from the hole:
1) talk to caravaneer to get the first questFar Go Quest
2) to to hub and do the unload boxes quest
3) got to ms stapleton and get the SwiftLearn perks
4) go to Maltese Falcon and get the wasteland band quest Wasteland Band
5) buy a knife to gather some fibers on hub
6) craft some ropes on the jt workbench
7) sell the ropes
8) buy the gunsmith perk (1500 caps) Gunsmith small gun
9) go to the levelling safe house.
10) Craft the Expanded Magazines from junk,
11) once you get lev6 go to broken hills and redding and get thePack Rat and the Strong Back
12) now you should have 120% science, and so go to JT and get the Dismantler Perk
When you crafted all expanded magazines you can start to craft and dismantle the DEs
DON'T hold anything than the Expanded Magazines and the DEs
this is the loop:
got to the workbench and get all the 100 DE and 100 Exp Mag.
DOUBLE CHECK THE DE number and the EXPMAG number
then the loop is:
If you got distracted and drop just the DEs and not the ExpDEs you will lost 100 DE (that's mean 1200 irons and 600 minerals) THIS ALWAYS HAPPEN so be carefull.
if you don't check if you have the 100 magazines you will craft few DEs so dropping all your will lost almost 80 DEs dismantling them. BE CAREFULL do the cycle correctly and double check if in doubt.
Some note:
Using this guide you can prepare a lev30 char in less than three hours but remember that a lev75 will require 11k of junks: 16 hours if you are a good junker,
I did 3 75lev char junking.
1) the junker.
2) the leveller.
