I have been talking about this here and there and even found a new guy (Arronax) who really likes this idea, but tonight was chatting with JB and Arroyo and they both like it too, so here goes:
Idea is to level up some hard miner alts, and start a Mining Union faction with only those alts, to serve as a production arm of Peacekeeper Squad. Membership totally optional, but won't it be cool to mine HQ in dangerous places as a team? 3 or 4 of us mining at the same time makes mining go faster, and we'd be much more able to defend ourselves and defeat any PKs who mess with us. Heavy Handed Boneheads! ST 10 with Mega Power Fists! I think this build could work fine:
Build Name: HQ Miner
Target Level: 24 for Simple Version
Target Level: 32 for Pro Version
Here are two versions of an HtH HQ Miner build. The Simple Version is not planned for SPECIAL implants. The Pro Version is planned for SPECIAL implants (ST, IN, AG, and LK):
(Pro Version costs 1.4M caps to buy implants.)
Traits: Heavy Handed + Bonehead
Tags: Close Combat 180, FA 150, OD 175
Other: Doctor 100
Perks: ARush, Tough, Even Tougher, LG, LG, Bonus HtH Attacks, ABoy, ABoy.
Drugs: Buffout, Nuka-Cola, Psycho, Beer.
Start with a leveling build though, get to target level, and re-roll to this.
PSquad has had a history of crafting a lot, making player deals and fulfilling crafting orders. This is a focus on mining specifically, which fuels crafting. So mining in a "Miner's Union" faction seems legit with such a tough build.
Everyone is welcome to join in this idea! Keep what you mine! Craft a ton of good stuff! Supply PSquad with whatever it needs! Sell the rest for caps on Barter runs all over! Make millions and buy implants!
