Ares - Tactics and Loot

okay - I have created tent near hospital, where players respawn when killed inside Ares. I also packed it with 6 vehicles, emergency drugs and other usefull stuff. This is so called "transportation tent" for use in order to get back asap from hospital into Ares (using another tent near Ares).

Guys! Good news...after reaching level 128 on my Ares Warrior then re-rolling him on Saturday and setting up some re-gearing piles by Ares, i went in. It started off badly with some horrible failures like i have never seen before. I was wondering if a dev was watching me and making me lose. I was even crit hit (bitten?) in the head by a dog and killed before i could even get inside! LOL! Wow it was sucking...and then BAM...things took a turn in my favor.

The M60 was not 1-hex burst insta-killing my targets as i expected, not even once. Yet somehow i made it inside. I had to use my sniper for a little help outside first, and i died once in the middle of my run-north-up-hallway plan, but after that, i was dominating Ares inside. I cleared first half of level 1 and got my earlier gear out. Went back in, opened energy door, and finished clearing level 1. Then i took a breath, got ready, and pushed on to level 2! I had no problems there! I totally cleared level 2 with no fails. I had some Tesla armor ready to attempt level 3, but i was overweight from the loot:

4 different Combat Armors with stats, and 1 quality Combat Helmet
46 flares, 1 Stealthboy, 1 Mentats blueprint, 7 Pulse Grenades, 200 Plasma Grenades, 130 frags, 1 Sniper Rifle +1 AP, and 1 Assault Rifle +1 AP.

I decided to get that loot out and declare my first Ares solo victory! We gotta go back there! My guy does very well, but it's very hard alone. All we need is a team of 3 capable fighters there and we can rule it anytime.

Sham and I hit ares tonight. It was rough but Sham was asleep on his feet so you could say he can do Ares in his sleep.

ok I think that with some luck and coordination, we can do Ares up to lvl 3, including boss there. Hoever, luck must be involved to survive hordes at 3rd floor entrance. 3 player could make it smooth. Still, entrance at lvl 4 could be masacre, even for 3 well geared players unless:

2 are shoting same target and one who is being shoted just heals up with Hypo (same method for the boss). Still, this requires lot of luck.
